The Batman Sighting in Toronto –

It’s all so very strange, like something out of the Twilight Zone. Jessica Redfield Gawhi experiences a “feeling” and leaves the food court at the Eaton Center right before the shootings. Then, afterwards, tweets about a man wearing a Batman costume (see screen capture below). Then a month later she is killed in a movie theater while watching a Batman movie … @JessicaRedfield, June 2: “A man dressed as BATMAN is charging tourists to take pictures outside the Eaton Center yelling “MY PARENTS ARE DEAD!” Very tacky & heartless.”

In a resume posted on Monster.com, Holmes listed himself as an “aspiring scientist” and said he was looking for a job as a laboratory technician.

The resume, first obtained by The Press-Enterprise in Riverside, paints a picture of a brilliant young man brimming with potential: He worked as a summer intern at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies in La Jolla in 2006 and mapped the neurons of Zebra finches and studied the flight muscles of hummingbirds while an undergraduate at the University of California, Riverside.

He also worked as a cabin counselor to underprivileged children at a summer camp in Los Angeles in 2008. In a statement, Camp Max Straus confirmed Holmes had worked at Camp Max Straus for eight weeks. It provided no other detail about Holmes but said such counselors are generally responsible for the care and guidance of roughly 10 children.

Neighbors and former classmates in California said although Holmes was whip-smart, he was a loner who said little and was easily forgotten — until this week.

Mary Muscari, a criminology professor at Regis University in Denver who studies mass killings, said she was not surprised Holmes was studying neuroscience and mental disorders.

“It could be he was interested in that because he knows there’s something different in him,” she said.

The name Aurora means “dawn.” The Roman goddess of the dawn was named Aurora, and her siblings are Sol (Sun) and Luna (Moon). These names in Latin and Greek are Aurora/Eos, Sol/Helios, Luna/Selene.

Aurora is an extremely popular name in Norway, being the 16th most used in 2006.

Holmes, held under suicide watch in solitary confinement, remained in his murderous “Joker” persona after arriving at the Arapahoe Detention Center, a jailhouse worker told the Daily News.

“Let’s just say he hasn’t shown any remorse,” the employee said. “He thinks he’s acting in a movie.”

The man accused in the midnight theater massacre was still acting bizarrely a day after his rampage at a screening of “The Dark Night Rises” — the last film in the Batman trilogy.

“He was spitting at the door and spitting at the guards,” one released inmate told The News outside the jail. “He’s spitting at everything. Dude was acting crazy.”
