My wife and I had wonderful time exploring and cleaning the Blunn Creek Nature Preserve. The weather cleared up and the temperature was just right to explore and clean various parts throughout this fantastic little park (that’s bigger than we realized).
Thankfully, the park really had very little trash to clean-up. Most of the trash and recyclables we collected were found in and along the creek; most of it freshly deposited from the recent rains; weather which delayed the initially scheduled cleanup time but whose sudden switcheroo gave us excellent cool temps – both down in the tropical feeling shaded creek and up to the sun exposed and blue-sky drenched north-eastern-most heights where you could look back across the preserve and see the beautiful castle-like St. Edwards University building on the horizon where green met blue with its white and orange palette.
This was an incredibly satisfying experience spent with my wife and nature.
